The Rotary Club of Fort Erie (RFE), 2021, supports Literacy and Communication through the Fort Erie Public Library and the Port Colborne Public Library.  Electronic Tablets were donated to the 2 libraries so that people can borrow the tablets to use as e-books.  With this technology, one can now access hundreds of books in an instant.  Another use of the Tablet is Communication.  The Tablets were loaded with software, such as Skype, so that Borrowers can communicate with loved ones, friends, etc.    (A tablet was lent to South Niagara Life Ministries for communication purposes to help those that needed counseling but were not physically able to get to SNLM.)     RFE also supports Literacy via it’s Lending Library in the LeisurePlex.  Just in case a child is bored of watching his/her sibling play hockey; there is a little library upstairs in the LeisurePlex filled with books for his/her reading pleasure.
