A No-ism Club: Aug 2020

The Rotary Club of Fort Erie is pleased to announce it’s newest member:  Ozioma Emihe. Ozioma is on her way to completing the diploma program for her to practice as a RPN. Her passion for helping new widows and widowers augments RFE value system.

No ageism: we have members from 30’s to 70’s.

No sexism: both genders enjoy sharing new ideas.

No racism: technically we have one race, the human race.

No nationalism: multiple nationalities.

No elitism: rich or poor, we value your efforts.

 Posted on Aug 30, 2019

On Aug.27, a short ceremony was held to officially open the pedestrian and bicycle lane on the newly renovated Peace Bridge connecting Canada and USA.  This project promotes a healthier environment by connecting the biking and hiking paths as well as connecting people across the border of the Niagara River.
Dignitaries from both sides were there to celebrate the opening, including USA Congressman Higgins who noted that this was the opposite of “building walls”. Representatives from Niagara area Rotary Clubs on both sides of the River also connected with the Ontario’s Niagara Parks Commission and Niagara River Greenbelt Trail association.

Hats off to the volunteer coaches, umpires and directors who understand the Rotary mottos:
